Life In Denver

The Office

The Office I work at is in lower downtown, right across the street from Coors field. It makes parking on game days a challenge, but it's a pretty good location. What I miss most about the SF office is all of the food places that are scattered throughout San Francisco. Here, you basically are screwed if you're not in the mood for a cheap burrito.

This is a full 360 degree picture taken from where I sit in the office. I captured a few of my co-works as I was working the way around.

360 of the Office

Lazy Guy

Lazy Guy

There's this guy who lives in one of the flats across the street from us. We're not sure what he does, but he's home all day long. Every 20-30 minutes he goes onto his balcony and has a cigarette. There he sits all day, every day, smoking and doing nothing. We are all amazingly jealous of this man. You can also take a look at the Team Logo inspired by him, our mascott.

My Apartment

I'm living in a corporate apartment in the Embassy Suites a few blocks away from the office. I don't spend a lot of time in the apartment. I find life is a lot better at the office where my co-workers are. They're my only friends in Denver, so given the choice between hanging out alone in my apartment and seeing my friends at work, I choose work.

Crane

They say the official bird of Denver is the crane. It seems like everywhere you look you see a crane making a new building. Here's the crane right outside my apartment window for the building going up across the street.

Apartment

My apartment really is a pretty nice place. It's got a kitchen, dining room and this rather robust living room as well. It's missing a PS2, but I'm going to bring my up to entertain me for the duration of my stay.
