Clearlake Photo (7/30/2003)

Here's a GREAT picture of my father an I on the deck at Clearlake. Well, great after I whipped out photoshop and did some touch up to myself.

AX Photo's (7/25/2003)

Just through I would put up a couple of pictures from Anime Expo. I deny that I'm passed out with vodka bottle in my hand. Adam will also deny that he is passed out with TWO bottles of beer.

Vacation's End (7/20/2003)

So ends all of this years lovely vacation. Lots of ends and new beginnings. I finally finished Neal Stephenson's book "Cryptonomicon" while in Scotland. It felt good to finish after multiple years of attacking it. I also read "Wind in the Willows" while I was over there. I'm starting on a new on my grandfather sent me called "What Counts : How Every Brain is Hardwired for Math" by Brian Butterworth which is another book in the long line math books that my grandfather likes to give to me. I also finished up the Arjuna series and I'm starting on Love Hina.

I headed out with Adam to Miyake's in Palo Alto last night. It was a good evening where no one involved vomited at the restaraunt... we've had some "issues" there before. Ichi! Ni! San! Sake bomb!

On the bizarre note, I'm flipping threw this years senior edition of Jesuit High School's Newspaper, the Plank, and I'm looking at the names of who is going to Santa Clara in the fall of 2003... Me! Yes, there is with my exact name graduating from Jesuit High School in 2003 and going to SCU to major in Civil Engineering. Spooky!

I fixed a bug in Bilbo that was breaking the Anime Catalogue process each night. So I just did a release of Bilbo 2.3.1 for all those fans.

Anyway, back to work this week. I've been out of it for a long time, so I'm not really sure what's going to be on my plate. The Chicago project was the last really big thing, but that project is basically live at this point. Which means I may need to construct something for myself to do. It could be a lot of fun!

Clearlake - Hospitol (7/13/2003)

This year my second-cousin Adam has made us proud by taking us the emergency room. Three small stiches on his chin from a battle tube event. T.J. was the assailant, pulling for a knife from his life vest and slashing wildly. Tragically, it is Adam's first year at Clearlake and he is now unable to go into the water for the rest of the trip.

Longer Home (7/7/2003)

Home for the week before shipping off to Clearlake. AX 2003 went very well this year. I think it may have been my favorite one to date. Adam's got the photo's on his camera, so I have to wait until he sends them to me to post any. There are only a couple, and it's mostly of people passed out from drinking too much.

I just got the photo back from Java One with the framework team playing with Duke. You can see Doug and Greg (the two other guys on the US framework team) in this one.

Quickly Home (7/1/2003)

Home for one day before taking off to LA for Anime Expo. Just enough time to get the pictures posted from the two events of the previous weeks!
