Clearlake is a beautiful place if you ignore the water. This
is the sun setting over the lake. The picture is taken from the
porch of the house we stay at. How's that for a view. You can
also see Art's sailboat sitting in the water just waiting for
someone to take it.

T.J. and Stephen tended to stay up pretty late into the night. That
means that they tended to sleep in pretty late in the morning. So
I made sure to get a picture of them each morning sleeping soundly.

Not everyone slept late into the morning. My father always said that
the best time to ski is bright and early before any boats are out.
Well, on one of our early morning runs he proved that you can
do a lot when the water is calm.

The kids really enjoyed battling things out on the tubes. Seems
like the girls are really the viscous ones out there though.

Though I don't have any pictures of me behind the boat, I do
have some of the carnage. Our old wake board had a bad habit
of breaking on us. Art and Noah both took a turn doing damage
to it, but I finally put the guy out of it's misery. With
a failed revolution I managed to rip one of the bindings
clean out of the board.

The girls bought some clippers at the Kmart this year and
opened up their own hair salon. Poor T.J. was the only
one brave enough to sit in the chair. They did a decent
job on it, pretty good for their first time. They attacked
his legs too, but I've spared him the posting of that
picture.

This year at the drive-in was "Scooby Doo" and "The Bourne Identity."
Always fun. Don't they look cute in the back of Nick's pickup?

Though Aimee didn't make it up this year, I went down to visit her.
We had some good Ethiopian food. Here's our pose back in her
San Francisco apartment.

A picture of the Wheeler siblings. The light behind them made it hard
to see. This isn't my best image editing job either.
|
|
What a nice shot of the McClusky siblings. Too bad they were looking
at someone else's camera.
|
|
Ahh... don't Noah and Laura look cute?

|
The non-kid generation all posed for a good shot. Lucky I had
that flash.
